CAIRO INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED

Refund & Cancellation Policy

A clear and transparent policy explaining cancellation, refund eligibility, payment processing and service-related requests at Cairo Infotech.

Last Updated: September 19, 2026

At Cairo Infotech, we aim to provide clear, transparent and practical service terms for every customer. Because our services include digital assistance, online applications, documentation support, website services, educational services and other technology-related work, cancellation and refund conditions can vary according to the nature and stage of a particular service.

This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

✓

General Refund Policy

Refunds are considered based on the individual service, payment status, work already completed and the reason for the refund request.

There is no single refund rule applicable to every service because different services may involve different processing steps, third-party systems, documentation, digital delivery or external charges.

₹

Post-Service Payments

Many Cairo Infotech services may be provided on a post-service payment basis.

Where no advance payment has been made, there is generally no payment amount to refund. However, any outstanding service charge may remain payable according to the agreed service terms.

▣

Prepaid Services

Certain services may require payment before work begins.

For prepaid services, refund eligibility will depend on whether the work has started, whether the service has already been completed, whether third-party costs have been incurred and whether the requested service can still reasonably be cancelled.

×

Cancellation Before Work Starts

If a customer requests cancellation before processing or substantial work has started, we will review the request and determine whether a refund is applicable.

Where a third-party fee, payment-processing charge or other unavoidable expense has already been incurred, the amount actually refundable may be affected, subject to applicable law.

◷

Cancellation After Processing Has Started

Once work has started, cancellation may not automatically result in a full refund.

This may include situations where information has already been entered, documents have been reviewed, an application has been submitted, a website task has been performed, digital content has been prepared, a service has been delivered, or an external processing step has already taken place.

Any refund will be assessed according to the actual stage of work and applicable consumer rights.

⌂

Government & Portal Services

Some services depend on government departments, official portals, CSC/Digital Seva systems or other external authorities.

Payment for our assistance service does not guarantee that a government authority will approve or issue a document.

If an external authority rejects an application for reasons outside our control, refund eligibility will depend on the specific service and work already performed.

↗

Third-Party Charges

Some services may involve third-party charges such as government fees, portal charges, payment gateway charges, courier charges or other external costs.

Such charges may not be refundable where the relevant third party does not provide a refund, subject always to applicable law.

◆

Digital Services & Digital Content

For digital services or digital content, refund eligibility may depend on whether the content or service has already been supplied, delivered, accessed or substantially completed.

Customers should carefully review the service description before making any prepaid purchase.

</>

Website & Custom Work

Website development, design, customization and other project-based services may involve work performed specifically for a customer.

If cancellation occurs after custom work has started, refund eligibility may be adjusted according to the work already completed and the agreed project terms.

✓

Situations That May Qualify for a Refund

Depending on the circumstances, a refund may be considered where:

  • A prepaid service could not reasonably be started or provided by Cairo Infotech.
  • A payment was received but the corresponding service was not provided, subject to applicable terms.
  • A duplicate payment was accidentally made.
  • A technical or administrative issue attributable to Cairo Infotech prevented delivery of a paid service.
  • Applicable law provides a specific consumer remedy.

Each request is reviewed according to the facts and the nature of the service involved.

!

Situations Where a Refund May Not Be Available

Subject to applicable law, a refund may not be available in circumstances such as:

  • The requested service has already been substantially completed.
  • Digital work or customized work has already been prepared or delivered.
  • Third-party fees or government charges have already been paid and are non-refundable.
  • The customer provided incorrect, incomplete or misleading information that caused the problem.
  • A customer cancels after a service has already been submitted or processed on their behalf.
  • A third-party authority rejects or delays an application for reasons beyond Cairo Infotech's reasonable control.

How to Request a Refund

1

Contact Us

Send your refund or cancellation request through our available contact channel.

2

Share Details

Provide the customer name, mobile number, service details and payment information where applicable.

3

Review & Resolution

We will review the request and communicate the applicable resolution.

Refunds for Online Payments

Where a refund is approved for a payment processed through an online payment gateway, the refund will normally be initiated through the applicable payment-processing mechanism.

The time taken for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment gateway, issuing bank, card network, UPI provider or other financial institution involved.

Cairo Infotech does not intentionally store customers' card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs or banking passwords as part of its normal website operations.

Duplicate or Incorrect Payment

If you believe that you have accidentally made a duplicate payment or paid an incorrect amount, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Provide the relevant transaction reference if available.
  • Mention the service for which the payment was intended.
  • Do not share sensitive banking passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or card security information with us.

Important About Refund Decisions

A refund policy does not remove any mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable Indian law. Where a service is defective, deficient, materially different from what was agreed, or otherwise gives rise to a legally protected consumer remedy, the applicable legal rights will continue to apply.

The specific facts of the transaction, the service involved, the stage of processing and any applicable legal requirements will be considered when resolving a refund or cancellation request.
